I love jewelry that tells a story. From my grandma’s vintage baubles I turned into earrings for my sister’s wedding to my Made With Love bracelets from Mali, West Africa where they are sold to raise funds for L’Empire des Enfants, a center for homeless children from the streets of Dakar, Senegal. You won’t find a lot of costume jewelry or odds and ends in my collection. Most pieces have a meaning, and I wear those pieces with great pride.
When Anjolee contacted me about reviewing their online jewelry customization process and a piece of their jewelry, I knew I was in for a treat. Anjolee was founded in 1977 as a manufacturer specializing in fine diamond jewelry. In 2008, Anjolee launched their website and began selling directly to the consumer. I love that Anjolee is family owned and operated. The two founding brothers combined their mother’s angelic nature, her passion for beautiful jewelry and her first name when coming up with the name. “Angel + Lee” = Anjolee. I think that’s just the sweetest!
The entire process was so much fun. You can customize everything! From their gorgeous diamond engagement rings to bracelets, necklaces and pendants – you can take a piece of jewelry and completely make it your own. You can choose stone size, stone color, setting type, metal type…..the list goes on. I chose to customize the Perfect Gemstone Link Bracelet in silver with pretty blue topaz stones. I’m not a huge fan of diamonds and gemstones. I’m more of a precious stone type of girl. You’ll find me most of the time wearing onyx, turquoise and jade. But I do love all stones with bluish hues, to include sapphires and topaz. I wanted something dainty and feminine, and this bracelet fits the bill. Working with the team at Anjolee was so easy. Their customer service was personal and very responsive. The ordering and shipping was all painless too. You can find more gemstone bracelets on their site here in various styles. You can also view some of their pieces in 3-D on their Youtube Channel. Here you can get a really good idea of what the jewelry looks like.
I love that my wrist has a new, pretty bauble to wear, and I love how the bracelet looks with my go-to silver bangles. I’ve had these babies since high school, receiving each of them to mark a special or significant moment in my life. See I told you. Jewelry with a story. If you’re in the market to Treat Yo’ Self, I highly recommend checking out Anjolee’s custom jewelry process. And with Valentine’s Day right around the corner, could you imagine the
points you’d scorelovin’ you’d receive providing your best guy or gal with jewelry personalized to their liking? Create them something special, and I promise you that necklace/bracelet/ring will tell your love story for years to come.
