I don’t have much insightful to say on this New Year’s Eve morning. I’ve got a cup of coffee in my hand and three pups somehow snuggled on my lap, happy to have the rest of the week off from work to soak up every last minute of 2014 with my loved ones. 2014 was a quiet year, and the older I get, the more I am thankful for that. Quiet years are OK with me.
I always look back on this post from two years ago as my guideline for the new year. My new addition to this list is to not only trust the path I’m on is the right one but to also trust myself. Sometimes my anxiety causes me to second guess my decisions, even though 99% of the time my first thoughts around a situation are spot on. Working on owning my truth from the old list is at the top of my list this year.
Have a safe and happy New Year’s Eve! I’ve got a pretty little sparkly number picked out for dinner this evening that I can’t wait to wear. We’ve got a quiet little dinner planned and then home for more pup snuggles on the couch. Sequins and Snuggling are always good ways to kick off anything, especially the blank pages of the new year.
Happy New Year!
