It’s 8:30 on Thanksgiving morning, and there’s already been a pre-Black Friday fight in my home. Setting an alarm to grab a deal at midnight that posted later than said start time that was already sold out upon waking at 5:30…that’s too much drama for me! So as much as I want to post some black Friday goodness for you today, it’s gonna have to wait until tomorrow. I just can’t advocate shopping and sales on a day that *should* be spent giving thanks for the good things we already have…not what we want or what we think we need or what we think we need to buy for x, y, and z. I’m all for saving money, don’t get me wrong. It just doesn’t feel right today.
What does feel right is wishing you all a very, very Happy Thanksgiving if you celebrate. Enjoy the day spent with your loved ones! Stuff yourself full of goodies, taken an open mouth, grandpa-style nap on the couch and worry about spending your money tomorrow. Someone will be there to take it, I promise you. I’m off to start the gluten free, Pumpkin Bourbon Cheesecake from this post that I was too lazy to make last night. Wish me luck!
