We are already in Week 5 of the 2014 NFL Season, can you believe it? During the months of March – August, I patiently wait for football season to make it’s way around again. And when it’s back, I feel like the time flies. Growing up outside of Pittsburgh, PA (you can read more of my love for the city here), I’ve always been a die-hard Pittsburgh fan. Black and Gold Forever – it’s just how you are raised. With a dad that also coaches high school football, I guess you can say football is in my blood. The hubby and I even ran all over Paris trying to find a bar showing both College and NFL football a few weeks back. Told ya. Die. Hard.
And while I know I owe you Paris posts (I have a lot on the way!), when Fanatics asked me to take my favorite NFL team jersey and style it for game day, I couldn’t say No! In fact, I decided to give my look a “street style” twist. Street style was all over Paris, and I’ve fully embraced it with open arms. So I’m bringing a bit of that back to the States for NFL fans everywhere! Key notes: Street style is classic AND comfy. No heels required. Your feet will thank you, trust me. Standing at the bar for a few hours on Sunday afternoon with a beer in hand is no place for anything sky-high or thigh-high. Bring your favorite jersey, your classic leather jacket and your sneaks. Easy. Peasy.
Check out Fanatics for their awesome line-up of team jerseys in styles for both men and women. And yes while I might be a Troy fan, you can find more of your Pittsburgh Steeler favorites here, here and here. Happy shopping!
