Currently Coveting: Oscar Blues

Blue was one of the hottest hues on the Red Carpet last night. Lupita Nyong’o in a breathtaking, baby blue Prada dress. My favorite, Amy Adams, rocking a lovely shade of navy. Even Kevin Spacey got in on the blue action (and delighted us with a bit of Frank Underwood’s southern drawl). You can’t go wrong with this shade for the Spring, whether you choose a soft pastel or a dark navy. You can shop my favorites below!

Just catching up on blogs and seriously loving your layout/design right now! Also, all of these blues – in particular that striped dress. I want! And a blue bag.. I’d really like to add one of those to my closet as well… never ending wish list!

PS I just realized one of my co-workers just spoke to you on the phone – sorry about your Prima donna order! I heard your name as they were printing a new label and was like – wait, I “know” her!

Haha, that’s great! No worries. Totally honest mistake. I was actually thinking this girl Megan has great taste, and maybe I should reorder the cuff and necklace too that she ordered! That’s awesome you are working there! Are you loving it? It has to be a major change from the DC grind, that’s for sure. And I mean that as a good thing, believe me. I’m so burnt right now I’d give anything to do something totally enjoyable and different from government work. How is NYC treating you?

Yeah… so after almost 8 years in finance I needed a big change. Luckily my friend (owner of PD) was looking for someone to direct marketing/ digital strategy efforts so that’s why we moved! Honestly, it doesn’t feel like “work” compared to what I had been doing before and I really love it 🙂

That sounds like an amazing dream job! Congrats! Work that doesn’t ever feel like work, to me, is the ultimate success. 🙂
