DIY gifts are both wonderful to give and to receive during the Holidays. When those gifts involve delicious infusions of alcohol, well, it makes gift giving even better! And let’s be honest, during the Holidays we all may need a refreshment or two in order to make it through the itchy-scratchy, matching sweaters (unless it’s this awesome sweater), family drama-rama and your furbabies gulping down the tree water (with one in particular very curious about lifting his leg up on the greenery). Oh wait, maybe that’s just at my house!
In any case, I’ve decided to try out infusing some liquor to give as gifts this season. I came across this great post at diy inspired as a starting point. They take you step by step through the process of infusing some booze, providing you great combinations to try and tips on ingredient preparation. I’m thinking a tequila infused with pineapples and jalapeños. Maybe a vodka infusion with lemon, lavender and vanilla. A cucumber gin with cilantro. The options are limitless! And because presentation of the gift is right up there with the tasty infused booze, below are my favorite images of hooch gift-giving! Tis the season! Stay tuned for how it all turns out.
