One of the best things about living in the Northern VA area is the multitude of wineries available. The Saturday after Thanksgiving, with no place to be and not much to do but relax and unwind, we stopped out at one of our favorites, Sunset Hills Vineyard in Purcellville, VA. Sunset Hills is gorgeous – the grounds, the tasting room, the outdoor area. The vineyard has such a warm, inviting feel to it with live music on weekend afternoons and a plethora of breads, cheeses and to-die for fudge that pairs deliciously with dessert wines! Honestly, we tried to not stuff our faces again, but we failed…miserably.
The day started out quite nice but by picture-taking time, it was down right brisk! I was happy to have my Eddie Bauer wool hat (that I can’t get enough of!) and my F21 scarf. I’m on a mission to pick up a few more infinity scarves before we trek out to South Dakota in a few weeks for Christmas! I have a feeling I’ll be needing them morning, noon and night out there!
